Rotary Club of Easton, Maryland
Continuing Scotty's Legacy of Giving
Every October, the Rotary Club of Easton, Maryland collects food and donations to help families in need — just as Lord Scott did for so many years.
Our Story
Who Was Scotty?
Lord Scott was more than a local businessman — he was the heart of Easton's holiday spirit. Every December, Scotty organized a massive fundraiser, collecting food and money for families who needed it most. On Christmas Day, he hosted a grand dinner and handed out presents and food to neighbors throughout the community.
When Scotty passed away in 2020, the Rotary Club of Easton vowed to carry on his tradition. Drop for Scotty was born — a yearly drive that places donation barrels around town, collecting non-perishable food and monetary donations in his honor.
Because of Scotty, and because of people like you, no family in Easton has to face the holidays alone.
“He didn't just talk about helping people — he showed up, every single year, and made sure no one was forgotten.”
— In memory of Lord Scott, Easton, Maryland
